We will be revisiting to see some more of Glasgow's during the summer Girl at reception friendly and helpful! Unsure of her name. An added bonus they have a terrace over looking the Clyde. We were supposed to go out but hotel atmosphere was that nice we just stayed in! Rooms were nice, clean and beds comfortable. Would definitely be my first choice for a night away again! Everything else. The font desk staff were very welcoming and helpful, always available and willing to help.
Breakfast was really good, with an array of options to choose from and well presented. The location was superb, with a view over looking the quay just behind the hotel.
It's a 30min walk to the city centre, but you wouldn't notice the walk as there's a lot of attractive views - bridges, the quay, old and modern buildings - to keep you engaged. This is my new go to hotel in Glasgow. For an OTT tartan infusion go here.

I love to be able to walk over to the Kelvingrove galleries, into the West End, and up to the Bon Accord. When I went to use Uber on my last day there was no cars available. Then I remembered the taxi button! You just press the button at the reception a taxi appears! We will be back! Very unique hotel right next to glasgow science centre and sse hydro so perfect location and not too far in the city centre it was very clean and tidy, staff were all lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with staff being very attentive, has a Starbucks on site plus different spa facilities.
Great value for money and will definitely be visiting again. The service and the rooms were royal.
Our business stay in Glasgow was to a large extent great because of the guidance of the hotel staff, the good silent rest got during the night and the marvelous breakfast upon the wake-up. Will return also for private! Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Excellent Buffet Breakfast with good choice range. Have booked again for a future visit to Glasgow. We are sorry to say that these are the only positive aspects of our stay at the Fraser Suites in Glasgow. The hotel staff where extremely attentive and very welcoming upon arrival.
Room was clean and tidy with a great view over Glasgow city centre. Slept really well both nights as the beds where very comfortable. Ideally situated for anyone visiting Glasgow city centre. The hotel is in the best location in Glasgow. Right in George Square. Access to everything on foot, by car, trains and buses. The staff are happy to see you and bend over backwards to assist. Food in dining area was very good. Good city centre location not far from the train station. Very friendly staff.

Good value for money, cheap price, good location in city centre, very clean, many restaurants, shopping malls and pubs in the area, paid parking available across the road. Everything, I have stayed here a few time now and the hotel is amazing. I love the value and the location I Fridays. While lots of their attempts may hit the spot with their customers, there is no doubt that these places are on the gimicky rather than the authentic side.
Traditional Greek Meze for Two. Get nothing but the best here, where a trim tasting menu rises to the perfect crescendo.

The attention to detail is exemplary, from the consideration given to dietary requirements to the cooking and some exuberant advice from the sommelier. This canteen-style establishment opened in to a chorus of buzz. And it really is irresistible: wooden benches, bright plastic stools and a decidedly informal vibe. Less than a year after it opened its doors, it bagged a Bib Gourmand award for quality dining at moderate prices.

On a good day, still the best restaurant in Glasgow. Opened by Ronnie Clydesdale way back in and still run by the same family, this warren-like destination with several bars, upstairs bistro and downstairs fine-dining restaurant remains a perennial go-to for indulgent contemporary Scottish cuisine. Championing dishes of local provenance, the menu is rich and, at times, unashamedly lavish, but well worth splashing out on. Better still, the theme of the tasting menu changes every six weeks — meaning you can, in theory, eat a different meal every visit.
For proudly sourced Scottish seafood and gins at a suitably rustic Argyll Street location. With its wooden beams, cosy booths and general weather-worn feel, this place does have the essence of a salty seafront boozer, where gin is the tipple of choice.
And the menu duly follows suit: the Isle of Gigha oysters, Shetland mussels, Barra scallops and Peterhead cod make for a foodie tour of coastal Scotland. For excellent brews and a big beer garden to enjoy them in — alongside the requisite bratwurst. The food, drawing on both traditional Bavarian and Scottish cuisine, is great, from gherkin salads to schnitzel to, yes, bratwurst. For super-affordable vegan plates and buzzing weekend nights. This Finnieston haunt does vegan not only deliciously but affordably, too.
For India-meets-Scotland creations, like oven-spiced haddock.
